Important: Ramble helps you capture and organize information. It is not a replacement for professional medical, legal, financial, emergency, or care advice. Review AI-generated results before acting on them.
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Ramble Technologies Ltd, a company based in Scotland. By creating an account, accessing, or using Ramble, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. Ramble is not directed to children. If you use Ramble for an organization, household, or group, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.
2. The service
Ramble is an AI-assisted life-organizing service that may let you capture text or voice-derived text, organize notes and tasks, create reminders and insights, manage personal or shared groups, and export or delete information. Features may change, be limited by platform, or be unavailable in particular regions or versions.
We may maintain, update, suspend, or discontinue features. We will take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary disruption and will provide notice where practical for material changes.
3. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your sign-in credentials confidential and do not share your account.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
- You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless it resulted from our failure to use reasonable security measures.
- We may require verification, limit access, or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or the public.
4. Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of the text, images, and other content you submit. You grant Ramble a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, transmit, transform, and process that content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the service you request.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit content, including content about another person. Do not upload confidential information that you are not authorized to share, or content that would violate a duty owed to another person.
You can control shared content through the features available in Ramble. Remember that other group members may see, copy, or export content that you deliberately share with them.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Ramble to:
- break the law, infringe rights, or facilitate harm, abuse, harassment, stalking, fraud, or discrimination;
- upload malware, malicious code, or content intended to compromise another person’s device or account;
- probe, scan, reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service or its security controls;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship with a group or organization;
- use automated systems in a way that creates unreasonable load or bypasses access limits;
- use Ramble as the sole basis for medical, medication, safeguarding, emergency, employment, credit, legal, or other high-impact decisions; or
- attempt to use the service to obtain another person’s private information without authorization.
6. AI output and user judgment
Ramble may use automated models to transcribe, classify, summarize, extract, or suggest information. AI output is probabilistic and may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or inappropriate suggestions. You must review output before relying on it, especially where health, safety, money, legal rights, deadlines, or another person’s wellbeing is involved.
Do not treat a reminder as proof that an event occurred, a task was completed, or a medication was taken. For emergencies, contact local emergency services rather than using Ramble.
7. Intellectual property
Ramble, including its software, visual design, trademarks, branding, documentation, and service-generated components excluding your content, is owned by or licensed to Ramble Technologies Ltd. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. No rights are granted except those expressly stated here.
If you send suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.
8. Third-party services
Ramble may depend on hosting, storage, email, AI, app-store, and other third-party services. Their terms and privacy notices may apply to your use of those services. We are not responsible for third-party products that we do not control, although we will take reasonable steps to select and manage providers used to deliver Ramble.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise that Ramble will be uninterrupted, error-free, available on every device, or compatible with every operating-system version. Maintenance, outages, provider failures, security events, and circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect availability.
We may change these terms when necessary. The effective date above will change when we publish an update. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide notice where reasonably possible.
10. Fees and app stores
Ramble’s current core offering is described on the website and in the relevant app store listing. If we introduce paid features, we will show the price and billing terms before purchase. Apple, Google, or another platform may impose separate terms on downloads, payments, updates, and refunds.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Ramble at any time and may request account deletion by contacting help@rambleloop.com. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, create a security or legal risk, or if we discontinue the service.
After termination, provisions that by their nature should continue will remain in effect, including provisions concerning content ownership, acceptable use, disclaimers, limitations of liability, dispute resolution, and interpretation.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ramble is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. We disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these terms, including implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ramble Technologies Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, deliberate misconduct, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited. If a liability limit is required, our total liability for claims relating to the service will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the previous twelve months or GBP 100, unless applicable law requires a different result.
14. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to reimburse Ramble Technologies Ltd for reasonable losses and costs resulting from your material breach of these terms, unlawful use of the service, or content you submitted without the required rights or permissions. This does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by our own breach or negligence.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the courts of Scotland will have non-exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may have mandatory rights to bring claims in the courts of the country where they live.
